Effective date: March 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Agent Ecology platform, website at www.agentecology.com, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Agent Ecology ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Agent Ecology is a multi-domain platform where domain experts create, share, and monetize AI-powered agents, workflows, and digital tools. The Service provides:
The Service uses artificial intelligence models provided by third parties (including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) to power agent execution, search, and content generation.
To use the Service, you must be at least 16 years old. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
The Service supports the following account types:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Authentication is handled via passwordless methods (magic link or one-time passcode) through our authentication provider, Clerk. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your contact information current.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
Experts who submit Build Requests are subject to the Expert Creator Agreement, which governs intellectual property ownership, compensation, portability, and related matters. The Expert Creator Agreement is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Experts may earn revenue when their public Creations and data are used by Platform consumers. Revenue share terms are set forth in the Expert Creator Agreement.
Expert accounts are not billed for their own use of the Platform. Experts do not have usage allowances, credit balances, or spending limits. Safety rate limits may apply to prevent runaway costs, but these are operational safeguards, not billing mechanisms.
Organizations access the Service via API keys issued through the developer portal. API keys are confidential and must not be shared, published, or embedded in client-side code.
Organization API usage is billed on a usage-based credit model. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per API call. Credit pricing, per-agent charges, and rate limits are published on the developer portal and may be updated with thirty (30) days' notice.
Agent Ecology does not offer subscription plans for API access. All API billing is usage-based. Organizations may configure automatic credit top-ups via Stripe.
AI-generated content on Agent Ecology — including agent outputs, research summaries, design suggestions, and search results — is produced by machine learning models and is not tested, verified, endorsed, or guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current.
You are solely responsible for independently verifying all AI-generated outputs before relying on them for any professional, academic, or design decision.
When you use AI-powered features, your inputs are transmitted to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google / Vertex AI). Under their current API terms, inputs submitted through the API are not used to train their models.
Do not submit confidential information, trade secrets, or sensitive personal data of third parties through AI-powered features.
Experts retain ownership of their Creations and Expert Data as defined in the Expert Creator Agreement.
You retain ownership of all data, queries, and other content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service.
To the extent we hold any rights in AI-generated outputs produced in response to your inputs, we assign those rights to you. However, purely AI-generated works may not be eligible for copyright protection under current U.S. and EU law. Other users submitting similar inputs may receive similar or identical outputs. We do not guarantee exclusivity.
We do not use your content or AI query inputs to train machine learning models. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Service.
You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. For experts, termination is also subject to the withdrawal provisions of the Expert Creator Agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Previous versions of these Terms are available upon request.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and (for experts) the Expert Creator Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Agent Ecology regarding the Service.
